Opening times for 0 - 3 Nursery
Sessions for the nursery are full days, from 8am to 6pm, and half days, from 8am to 1pm and 1pm to 6pm.
We are open 50 weeks of the year, only closing for 1 weeks in the Summer, 1 week at Christmas and Bank Holidays.
A Little History
Eastfield Nursery 0—3 was set up as part of the Government's Neighbourhood Nursery initiative, providing parents with high quality education and childcare, enabling them to access employment and /or training opportunities.
A successful bid was tendered by Eastfield Nursery School to provide full day care for babies and children from three months to three years. We will provide care for up to 21 children, 9 of whom will be 0-2 and 12 of whom will be 2-3.
The Nursery School has now been designated as a Children Centre.
Birth to Three Matters Framework
As a Nursery we are committed to providing the best care for children that we possibly can. In our case this means following the Birth to Three Matters Framework covering all aspects of a child’s early development, which then helps each individual child to become A Strong Child, A Skilful Communicator, A Competent Learner and A Healthy Child, to the best of their abilities.
